Moving House

A good friend will soon be moving house so I thought I would make a special card (like I need an excuse).  So I put stamp to ink and made this.  I love the softness of the 'Soft Sky' blue card that I stamped with a stamp from 'Sprinkles of Life' that that doubles as a cupcake/icecream or perfect for clouds!  The little house is from a stamp sets during Sale-a-bration and I punched out the hearts on the glitter card and added a small sentiment.  This will be sent in a matching envelope I will make with the envelope punch board.

If you would like any Stampin' Up! items then contact me and I can help or visit my shop from the link.

New Stampin' Up! Catalogue Coming Soon

Not long to wait now before new catalogue comes out and as I have has a sneaky peak I am very excited as it is FANTASTIC!  I was lucky enough to get hold of some of the new items from and made this little box using new colours such as Watermelon Wonder and paper from Cherry on Top!  I love making these little boxes so I made a couple suitable for new baby using the Zoo Babies stamps.  These boxes fit in little gifts like a pair of socks, a gift card and I have even put in a little baby vest.  I am going to do a video tutorial soon as I can work out the new camera!

I also took a couple of photos of the new products (sorry they aren't great it was late at night!) to give you a sneaky peak!

Fit for a Princess

Lovely news last weekend with the birth of a new Princess! With this in mind I thought I would design a new baby girl card that was just right for such a special occasion and person so thought less would be more.

I used Pink Pirouette stamping  pad (pink of course!) and Tag Talk stamps and heart punch with some matching Designer Series Paper.

The birth of a Princess and I have had sneak peaks of the new Stampin' Up! catalogue!  Lots going on!

I had a great class today where we made lovely cards and a gift box, ate cake and chatted  - perfect!

Personalised notebooks and a broken camera!

I was supposed to be bringing you a few new videos this weekend, but sadly fate stepped in and I went to try and record and video camera is broken - no idea why but the husband is saying that we should get a Gopro now (all sounds a bit complicated ;o)).

On the upside, it meant I was able to put my time to good use and make some personalised notebooks I have been wanting to put together for a long time.  I have a Renz binder thingy (technical term that is!) so used that to make these notebooks.  I stamped with Gorgeous Grunge and Papillon Potpourri stamps and used Coastal Cabana, Strawberry Slush and Pistachio Pudding and letters in black StazOn.  I embellished with matching ribbons and diamante for sparkle.

I enjoy making them and they make fantastic gifts, my son wants one so I had better get busy with that!

Tuesday 14 April 2015

Well, what a glorious day today was, sadly I was stuck in an office but I enjoyed my five minute walk at lunchtime.

Been a very busy couple of weeks with the children being off and Easter. On Sunday I went to Stampin' Up team training in Peterborough and learnt a lot and met new people. Made some lovely cards and gave me lots of ideas.

Ive also been working on my own designs for classes. Don't forget there is a class 8th May 2015 10.30-12.30 - contact me for further information.

I love the banner punch, it is so versatile and can be used in so many ways from birthday cards, scrap booking and as the photo shows, a new baby card too that is very cute.

Enjoy the sun while it lasts!

Inspired by the team training I made this card.

The very versatile banner punch with some lovely stamps created these cards.

Bows on everything

I LOVE bows and woud put them on everything if I could!  I love making them out of paper, card and ribbon and if you get a present from me, it will have a bow on.  Because of my love of them I made this card using Stampin' Up! Cardstock and Designer Series Paper and finished with a 'happy birthday' sentiment and because, of course, bows and diamantes go together I added a bit of bling.

With the Stampin' Up! bow punch they are super duper easy and you can make presents, cards and tags look stylish all in super quick time.

Anyone for Maltesers?!

I love Maltesers, how they melt in the mouth, the honeycomb...mmm..anyway!  They look fab boxed in Stampin' Up! papers, add some ribbon and a tag and you've taken a cheap box of yummies and made it look stylish and anyone would love to receive it.  Perfect for teacher gifts and Easter.  Thing is a couple of boxes didn't make it out the house *hangs head in shame*.

Little Box Love

I saw these little boxes and had to give it a go, I used Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper Stack and Pretty Petite stamp with Baked Brown Sugar.  These would be perfect at a wedding for favours or in neutrals at a baby shower.  Mine are for Easter and I think I will fill with some mini eggs (if they make it in the box ;o)).
